GENERAL INFORMATION
Registration Requirements:
Every new official if you haven’t already done so, must register on the cfoa-la.org website at LAFOA - Los Angeles (cfoa-la.org). By doing so, you will be placed on the mailing list and will receive all future communication.

This year, both the Independent Contractors Agreement, and Code of Conduct will be signed on the unit website. This will be submitted when you log into the system.
Insurance
Liability Insurance is a state requirement for every sports official. The Los Angeles Football Officials Association mandates coverage with NFHS via DragonFlyMax. Instructions for purchase are listed below. If you are renewing coverage, in some instances you may be required to wait until your previous policy expires.
Veteran officials, here are the instructions for renewing your DragonFlyMax coverage:
1. Log in to dragonflymax.com
2. Enter email and password
3. Click “Complete Your Registration”
4. Click “Start”
5. Answer the question and click “Done”
6. Click “Confirm/Update Sports” Check all of the sports that you officiate or would like to officiate
7. Click “Save Sports”
8. Click “Review & Pay” Fill in required information and click “Done.”
9. Print out a copy of your card for your records. A receipt will be emailed to you.
If you are purchasing DragonFly Max for the first time, follow the instructions below:
1. Go to Dragonflymax.com
2. Signup/create free account
3. Input verification code (sent to email used to sign up)
4. Select “Let’s get started”
5. Select Official
6. Select Contest Official
7. Select California
8. Select NFHS NFOA Tier 2 organizations
9. Select Football - Add
10. Select “L.A. Unit of the California Football Officials” – Add group
11. Review your information – Save
12. Complete registration/fill out forms 13. Test not required.

Returning Officials Early Registration fees received on or before June 15th: $100.00
Returning Officials Late Registration fees received on or after June 15th: $140.00
Returning Officials Very Late Registration received on or after August 1st: $170.00
Transferring Officials registration fees received on or before July 31st: $100.00
Transferring Officials registration fees received after July 31st: $140.00
New 1st Year Officials: $90.00
